Quality or quantity? Sometimes we can have both.
Yesterday, the Boss spent the entire day at the Kyoto office.
Considering that his normal commute is from the heart of Saitama to the hub of Tokyo, coming all the way down to Kyoto and then back home again doesn't make for the easiest trip. All praise to the bullet train!
After work, we accompanied the Boss to a traditional little restaurant a few doors down from the office to enjoy some great food, cold beer and good company.
We stayed a little longer after the Boss left to catch his train, but decided it was best not to make a long night of it, given that it was the middle of the week.
On the way home, though, Mr. I, Mr. A and myself suddenly had a change of heart, and made a bee-line to the nearest bar...
...the promise of 1L glasses of beer proved just too much to resist!
